The Archery GB classification system allows archers to measure their performance against other archers throughout the country each year, to chart their progress and see themselves improve.
The classifications are:
- Third Class
- Second Class
- First Class
- Bowman
- Junior Master Bowman
- Master Bowman
- Grand Master Bowman
The top award is a Grand Master Bowman, while Third Class is the lowest classification award you can achieve. Third, Second, First and Bowman classifications can all be earned at any club shoot or competition, while Master Bowman and Grand Master Bowman can only be earned at Record Status Shoots or Tournaments.
