About the module:  Attendance at this event counts towards completion of Archery GB’s Session Coach (Level 1) course. This module helps coaches to apply what they have learnt on the course, with a focus on using drills and skills to improve the quality of practice for archers.

What you need to attend:   For new coaches, it is advisable to complete all online modules associated with the Session Coach course before completing this module. For existing licenced coaches, this is an opportunity for continued professional development (cpd) and completion of the prior modules is not necessary.

Further guidance:  Attendees should read the ‘Guidance for Learners - Session Coach Qualification’ to find out more about what this qualification entails, which can be found at https://www.archerygb.org/coaches-judges-volunteers/coaches/session-coach-level-1/.

How to attend:
Once payment has been made for your entry fee, you will receive a payment confirmation email with the event information.

IMPORTANT: Session Coach - Terms & Conditions (Please read before registering for modules)

Entry Requirements:  Individuals should be aged at least 15 years old by the first day of the course. When carrying out supported practice sessions, learners who are under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult. (Please note: Learners who are aged 15 years will not be able to get a Coach Licence until they reach 16, this is due to Safeguarding training and DBS age requirements).

Session Coach Module Cancellation Policy:  There is a minimum requirement of eight Learners to make a Session Course module viable for delivery. In the event that this minimum number is not met, Archery GB reserves the right to cancel the module. Learners will be notified via email of the cancellation and will be provided with the option of either a full refund or provided with a ‘Transfer Coupon’ to re-register for an alternative module.

Learner Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations or requests for transfers by Learners within 10 days of a Session Coach module commencing will incur the full cost of the module (£27 for online modules and £77 for in-person modules).

Payment of Fees:  All registrations and payments are now made through Sport80.  Our preferred method is for individuals to register and pay directly through Sport80 and claim any funding back through their respective club. If this is not possible, please contact coaching@archerygb.org and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Learning Curve:  All new coaches will be provided with access to Learning Curve upon completion of the first module ‘Starting your Coaching Journey’. If you have completed this module and are informed that you are ineligible because you are not a member of Archery GB, please contact coaching@archerygb.org.  If you are experiencing technical or user issues with Learning Curve please contact Etrainu’s helpdesk in the first instance by submitting your enquiry using this ink:   https://etrainusupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
