Session Coach - Supported Practice & Coach Presentation

 

Welcome to the Archery GB Session Coach module “Supported Practice & Coach Presentation - Module 6” This course is designed to provide hands-on coaching experience and the opportunity to present your coaching skills. This module is the final step in the Session Coach pathway, ensuring you are fully prepared to lead and inspire your archers.

 

Key Objectives:

  • Presentation Skills: Develop and refine your ability to present coaching sessions effectively.
  • Reflective Practice: Enhance your ability to reflect on and adapt your coaching methods.
  • Competency Check: Ensure you meet all requirements for final certification as a Session Coach.
 

Duration:

One day in-person workshop: Join us for an engaging, all-day workshop designed to be both informative and interactive. You’ll participate in hands-on activities, group discussions, and practical exercises, guided by experienced Coach Developers. This workshop offers a collaborative and supportive environment to enhance your skills and knowledge.

 

Venue:  Sight Scotland Veterans, 198 Hawkhead Road, The Hawkhead Centre, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland PA2 7BS

 

Time:  9:00am to 5:00pm.

 

Price:  This workshop costs £77 per learner.

 

Additional Information

  • A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion.
  • A Session Coach qualification issued upon completion.
  • An Archery GB Session Coach Licence will be issued once all the necessary requirements are met. These include completing the Session Coach course, obtaining safeguarding and protecting children certification, maintaining a current AGB Membership, and securing an Enhanced Disclosure through DBS/PVG/Access NI.
 

Outcomes:

By the end of this module, you will have gained substantial practical coaching experience and developed the confidence to present your coaching sessions effectively. You will be fully prepared to lead your archers to success and achieve your certification as a Session Coach.

Learner Cancellation/Transfer Policy:

  • Transfer Requests: All transfer requests will incur a £5 admin charge (unless previously agreed otherwise).
  • Cancellations: Cancellations within 10 days of the Session Coach workshop start date will be charged the full cost.
  • No-Shows: Learners who do not attend will be charged the full workshop fee.
