Development Coach – Coaching Journey Presentation
Welcome to the final workshop of Archery GB’s Development Coach course, “Coaching Journey Presentation – Module 8.” This workshop lets you apply and practice your skills and knowledge, ensuring you feel confident in developing an archer’s technique.
On the final day, you will present your coaching journey, detailing the steps you took to improve an archer’s technique. Afterward, you will lead a discussion with peers to receive feedback and share lessons learned, solidifying your understanding and enhancing your coaching skills.
Key Objectives:
- Application of Skills: Apply skills and knowledge from previous modules.
- Confidence Building: Build confidence in developing an archer’s technique.
- Presentation of Coaching Journey: Present the coaching journey and steps taken to improve technique.
- Peer Feedback: Receive targeted feedback from peers.
- Lesson Sharing: Share lessons learned to enhance collective understanding.
- Skill Enhancement: Enhance coaching skills through reflective practice and peer interaction.
Duration:
One day in-person workshop: Join us for an engaging, all-day workshop designed to be both informative and interactive. You’ll participate in hands-on activities, group discussions, and practical exercises, guided by experienced Coach Developers. This workshop offers a collaborative and supportive environment to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Price: This workshop costs £82 per learner
Additional Information
- A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion.
- A Development Coach qualification issued upon completion.
- An Archery GB Development Coach Licence will be issued once all the necessary requirements are met. These include completing the Development Coach course, obtaining safeguarding and protecting children certification, maintaining a current AGB Membership, and securing an Enhanced Disclosure through DBS/PVG/Access NI.
Outcomes:
By the end of this final workshop, participants will have applied their skills and knowledge, presented their coaching journey, and detailed steps to enhance an archer’s technique. Through peer discussions, they will have received feedback and shared lessons learned, solidifying their understanding and enhancing their coaching skills. This ensures they are well-prepared to develop and refine archers’ techniques in future coaching endeavours.

Learner Cancellation/Transfer Policy:
- Transfer Requests: All transfer requests will incur a £5 admin charge (unless previously agreed otherwise).
- Cancellations: Cancellations within 10 days of the Session Coach workshop start date will be charged the full cost.
- No-Shows: Learners who do not attend will be charged the full workshop fee.
