About the Event
No substitutes or refunds after the closing date.
Targets: Mixture of round foam bosses on A-frame stands and Danage bosses.
Timing: Shooting will be in descending order of distance and in two details (AB & CD) throughout. Ends of 6 arrows will be shot in 4 minutes at all distances. A Chronotir system will be in use.
Target Faces: Longest two distances, all bowstyles 1 X 122cm full size face. At the two shortest distances, sighted bows 4 x 80cm 6 zone with A shooting top left, B top right, C bottom left, and D bottom right. Unsighted bows 1 x 80cm 10 zone face.
Pre-Shoot Timing:

WA Rounds: Archers wishing to be considered for a World Archery Star or World Record must shoot the WA round corresponding to their age on the birthday that falls in the year of the tournament. All may choose to shoot the senior round.

Star Awards: World Archery rounds listed above have ‘World Archery Star’ status. Any competitors wishing to claim an award must do so before they leave the venue.
Archery GB Rounds: Juniors who do not wish to compete in the above rounds may elect to shoot the Archery GB Metric round corresponding to their gender and age, in which case they will be eligible only for UK Records. Archers entering the rounds below are not eligible for Star awards.

Dress Code: ArcheryGB dress regulations will apply. Archers not conforming to rule 307 will not be eligible for awards. You are requested to observe the dress code until after the presentation of awards.
Drug Testing: This is a UK and World Record Status tournament. You might be liable for drug testing, any competitors approached to give samples must comply. If you refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. Entries from archers under the age of 18 must be signed by a parent/guardian to signify consent to their child being drug tested.
Shooting Aids: Archers using a wheelchair or stool that remain on the line please specify in ‘additional requirements’ on the form so that this can be accommodated.
Lost Arrows: This tournament is held on a mixed-use sports field; if you lose any arrows, you must find them before you leave the venue.
Disclaimer: Neither Gravesend Archers nor the owners of the grounds can accept responsibility for loss or damage to equipment while on, entering or leaving the venue. No responsibility will be accepted for damage to arrows missing or passing through a target boss.
Parking: Parking space will be clearly indicated; please park considerately and do not leave your car on any roadway.
Photography: To comply with the Archery GB Policy for “Safeguarding Children, Young People & Vulnerable Adults”, any person wishing to pursue any form of photography for any purpose is required to report to the tournament organiser before starting and to comply with any conditions given.
Juniors: All competitors under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent, guardian or other nominated responsible adult at all times.
Privacy Policy: Personal information supplied by you on the entry form will only be used for the purposes of this tournament, unless you indicate to the contrary. No information will be disclosed to third parties, except as required by law.
Refreshments/Food: Tea, coffee and cakes will be available all day. Bacon sandwiches will be available until 10am, burgers and hot dogs will be available at midday.
