Sunday :

WA 1440 Gents/Ladies/50+, Metric and Short Metrics.

Morning session: Assembly: 08.30 Practice: 08.45, Shooting commences: 09.30.

Afternoon session: Assembly: 12.30*, Practice: 12.45*, Shooting commences: 13.30* 

*These timings are approximate and will depend on the time the morning session finishes. 

Juniors may enter the Senior Class (by paying the appropriate Senior Fee) but will not then qualify for the Junior Awards. Juniors under 16yrs must be accompanied by their parent/appointed guardian. Seniors may enter Junior Classes but will not then qualify for Senior Awards. Juniors entering their own age-appropriate rounds will take entry priority. Archers entering the short metric rounds (50m, 30m) will shoot in the afternoon. 

Please note there will be music playing between shooting ends and during breaks. 

Faces

Shooting at the 2 longer distance will be in ends of 6 arrows, shot in 4 minutes on 122cm faces,

Shooting at the 2 shorter distances will be in ends of 6 arrows, shot in 4 minutes on individual, 6 zone 80cm faces, Except for barebow and junior archers who will shoot on a shared single full size 80cm face. 

There will be a 4 arches per boss, shotting in 2 details.

Entries:-

Tournaments are open to any archer currently affiliated to Archery GB, and Dress Regulations as shown in Rule 307 will apply.

   

Awards :

Medals will be allocated based on entries for each category. 1-3 entries 1st place medal

2-5 entries 2nd place medal 6+ entries 3rd place medal

Juniors may enter the senior class on payment of senior fee but will not qualify for junior awards.

AGB Rules:- By entering our competitions you are agreeing to abide by AGB Rules of shooting and the regulations of these tournaments.

A Junior's parent/guardian must sign on behalf of the Junior, and in the case of a Junior under 16 yrs. must notify the Tournament Organiser of the senior person who will be taking due care and responsibility for that junior the whole time he/she is on Norton Archers premises.

Drug Testing: Archers competing at record status tournaments may be liable for drugs testing. Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply. Non- compliance will be treated as a positive result. By entering this competition, you consent to testing. If you are entering a minor into this competition you consent to the testing of that minor; this is in line with the UK AntiDoping Policy, Rule 5.7.2.

Refreshments: Refreshment available all weekend

Photos: Anyone wishing to use photographic/video equipment at a tournament must register prior to the start of the shoot. This includes mobile phone cameras.

Camping: Camping is available on the ground at £5 per night (per pitch). For further information please contact the tournament organiser. 

Smoking: Smoking (including vaping) must be behind the tents.

Cancelations - we will not reimburse cancelation fees after the closing date for the competition.

Dogs: Dogs are welcomed, however must stay behind the tent line and on the lead. If they become noisy or aggressive, they must be removed from the archery field. 

Liability: Norton (Teesside) Sports Complex and Norton Archers their agents &/or servants accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury however caused. Entry to the tournament will be taken as acceptance of these conditions

Data Protection: By entering Norton Archers competitions you agree that the information you provide may be shared with tournament organisers, scoring systems, ArcheryGB and other competitors. Some information may also be published in documents relating to the event in the year of 2023. This information includes your name, gender, bow style, date of birth or age category, round, disability information, e-mail address, contact numbers, club, county, region, and any assigned codes for this information. A target list will be published prior to the event, available on the Norton Archers website. Results will be published as soon after the tournament as possible.

 What are my parking options at the event?

 Ample parking is available. Disabled archers please contact the Tournament Organiser for “preferred parking” and to request a wheelchair/stool space be allocated.
