About the Event
UK Armed Forces Inter-Service Open Outdoor Championships
The day will consist of a Record Status WA 70m/50m/30m followed by a Head-to-Head
- Recurve 70m 122cm face
- Longbow 70m 122cm face
- Barebow 50m 122cm face
- Compound 50m 80cm face
- VI Archers and Novice 30m
Friday
- 0800 Arrival and check in
- 0845 Assembly
- 0900 Competition start
- Medal Ceremony held ASAP after shooting - Medals will be awarded with reference to Admin Order RAFAA/2025/07
Important Information:
Event is Open, however waiting list in use. Military Archers (RAF, Army, Navy and associates) will be taken from the list first.
Additional Charges
- Non-RAF Archery members pay an additional £0.50 for the weekend iaw AP3223.
- Visitors pay additional £3.00 for the weekend iaw AP3223 and to cover DIO licence agreement to allow for Open Shoot
Refunds:
- All refunds will be minus stripe payment fees
- All refunds are administered 5 working days after the completion of the event.
Working Party
- A volunteer working party is required for the duration of the competition.
- These members must NOT be competitors but free at all times to assist the Tournament Organiser and Judges.
- Those who do volunteer for this will receive the buffet lunch provided for free.
- Competitors can choose to shoot one day and volunteer the other if they so wish.
Late Entry
All late entries on and after 01 Aug 25 will invite and additional £1 fee, this will be automatically applied by the system.
Photography
In line with the recommendation in the Archery GB Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy, the promoters of this event request that any person wishing to engage in any video, zoom or close range photography should register their details with Event Organiser/Club Official at the spectator desk before carrying out any such photography. If parents/carers have any particular concern about their child/young person being photographed or filmed they should notify the organisers
Photos and video taken at this event may be used by RAF Archery, RAF Sports Federation, RAF Central Fund and RAF across its communication channels to promote the sport. If you are concerned about any photography and videos taking place at this event, or do not wish to be photographed please contact the tournament organiser directly. All official photography is also carried out iaw 2019DIN05-026 MOD consent form update.
The promoter reserves the right to decline entry to any person unable to meet or abide by the promoter's conditions.
