Shooting is to be regulated in accordance with the Archery GB / GNAS Rules of Shooting.

Rounds and Awards
Sussex Junior Championship Awards are open to members of the Sussex County Archery Association.
Awards will be given to Ladies and Gentlemen according to Bow style. At least one award will be given for every class that has any entrants. In order to be eligible for SCAA awards, entrants must shoot at least these minimum qualifying rounds by age group. The Sussex Champion title is only available for 30m+ distances. NOTE also the ArcheryGB method of calculating Age.

Eligibility
This shoot will be part of the Southern Counties Archery Youth Tour.

This competition is open only to Junior Archers affiliated to the Sussex County Archery Association and to GNAS / ArcheryGB or a WA member association. Entrants must produce their Archery GB card or proof of membership for inspection at Registration. Southern Counties Juniors will automatically be entered into the Southern Counties Archery Youth Tour.
Shooting
Will be in accordance with rule 304.f (ii). i.e. Method 2. Up to four archers per target.
At all distances shooting will be in two details of six arrows (four minutes allowed). Shooting to be controlled by visual display and audible signals. Entrants may use any GNAS Target Bow Styles except for Crossbows.
Faces
All archers use 122cm Target Faces.
Refreshments
You will have to bring your own food and drink or buy from the nearby Old Barn Garden centre.
Tents
Tents / shelters may be pitched at least 15 yards from the Shooting Line, and Archers must ensure that the access gangways are clear of any guy ropes.

Photography
In accordance with the GNAS Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, anyone wishing to take photographs at the event must register with the Tournament Organiser on arrival at the venue.
Please note SCAA intends to publish pictures taken at the event on their websites as previously, and encourage publication in archery magazines and elsewhere to help promote the Sport. Pictures published by SCAA will not be captioned in a way that identifies individuals unless the subjects positively consent. By entering the tournament, participants (and / or their parents / guardians) confirm agreement to this policy. Local Newspapers and TV or Radio Stations may send reporters who may have different standards that SCAA cannot be held responsible for.
Archer’s special requirements
If you have any special needs such as space for a tactile sight, wheelchair, stool or electric buggy, or space for a helper dog, or a privacy tent, etc, please indicate on the form. If you need more space to write your requirement, please just use the blank part of the form.
Site Owner’s restrictions
Smoking or Vaping is allowed on the premises but please keep away from the shooting line and other people. Dogs are to be kept under control. Cars should be brought onto the field for parking, as directed, and not parked in adjoining lanes. Please bag-up and take all rubbish home with you, and make sure you retrieve all your arrows from the range.
Data Protection opt-in
By entering this competition, entrants affirm they agree to their personal details being used to compile the Entrants / Target lists and Results Sheets, which will be published and may be archived for posterity. Address and Contact information will not be shared with others and will be kept in accordance with the SCAA Privacy Policy. Entrants also agree that address data may be held for up to 3 years and be used to publicise future archery events but may opt-out of receiving publicity communications by contacting the Organiser and requesting removal from the list.

PLEASE Do not panic if Sport80 says you are on a waiting list. This is a trial way of running a tournament, so I have spare spaces in the background. NOTE THAT THIS IS A LARGE RURAL POSTCODE AREA CENTRED IN THE VILLAGE – the Venue is on the EAST SIDE of the A24 heading South, which is opposite the village side of the road.
Access is off the lane leading to the Sussex Showground and Old Barn Garden Centre.
Bear left past Penfold Verrall’s Yard and continue on the Thistleworth Farm drive.
