This online, interactive and tutor lead workshop will help you recognise and respond to concerns a child may be experiencing, or be at risk of experiencing, harm, neglect, or abuse.
You will learn the importance of person-centred care and taking an individualised approach to your coaching practice, that puts the child or young person at the heart of every session.
It is suitable for the safeguarding requirements for a new coach or a renewing coach in England and Wales. Attendees must be 18 years or older.
Your first name, surname and email address will be shared with UK Coaching so that you receive a certificate of attendance.
You will receive three months access to a digital copy of A Guide to Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport & Physical Activity to guide you in your future coaching. Packed full of practical guidance it will help you to deal sensitively and effectively with any issues that arise.
