Help for Heroes Veterans in Sport (Online Workshop)
Date: Tuesday, 14 January 2025
Time: 7pm - 8pm

This workshop will be delivered by Help for Heroes.
What's covered?
Veterans bring unique skills, dedication, and a desire for community involvement, making archery a perfect fit for many former service personnel. Archery offers a sense of friendship and achievement that resonates with the armed forces community, and numerous clubs have already seen great success by engaging with veterans.
Join us for an online workshop delivered by staff from Help for Heroes and experienced archers from the armed forces community. The session will explore practical strategies for making your club a welcoming space for veterans.
Topics include:
- Supporting physical and mental health needs
- Understanding veteran attitudes and behaviours
- Building strong, inclusive club environments.
This training is a part of our commitment to creating more inclusive environments in archery, allowing everyone, regardless of ability, to participate fully.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and connect.
Instructions on how to join the online workshop will be sent closer to the date of the workshop.
