About the Event
THE WAKEFIELD ARCHERS SUMMER ALBION & Windsor OPEN
Can previous trophy winners please organise the return of any trophies for awarding this year, thank you.
The rounds to be shot are the Albion and various Windsor rounds which consists of 3 dozen arrows at three distances on the 122cm face and 5 imperial scoring zones, 9,7,5,3,1. There will be a lunch break after the first distance and refreshments are planned to be available during the day. If you require gluten free/vegetarian/vegan please do not assume these will be available.
Gates open 9.00am, assembly at 10.00am, sighters 10.30am.
The available rounds are as follows:
Albion - 80, 60 & 50yds
Windsor - 60, 50 & 40yds
Windsor 50 (Short) - 50, 40 & 30yds
Windsor 40 (Junior) - 40, 30 & 20yds.
Awards
Medals
according to entry (all ages across all rounds). Archers can enter any
distance they feel comfortable shooting as we expect the shoot will be
popular with novices and we welcome everyone to enter.
Additional Awards
• Trophy for the highest score by Lady and Gent shooting the Albion by bow type.
• AGB dress regulations (rule 307) and rules of shooting will apply.
• Proof of AGB membership may be requested on the day.
• TWA will have a photographer on site and we will publish the pictures via our social media and website platforms. Anyone not wishing to have a photograph taken should not enter.
• Under the provisions within the Archery GB Protection of Children and
Vulnerable Adults Policy, those who wish to take photographs at this
event are to register with the organisers on arrival.
• Data
protection – When you enter competitions the following information may
be collected and shared with tournament organisers, scoring systems and
other competitors for example target list and results may be published:
First name, Surname, Gender, Bow Style, Age category, Club, County

Foam bosses are used with target nappies if required. We cannot accept
responsibility for loss or damage to equipment or personal possessions.
• Please notify via email any special requirements to
tournamentsofficer@wakefieldarchers.co.uk, e.g. the need to stay on the
line. We will try to accommodate your needs, but this may not be possible if you inform us on the day.
• Closing date for entries is 12th July 2025. No refunds for cancellations will be given after the closing date.
