To help grow our sport and support archery clubs across Great Britain, a new role has been created in Archery GB's communications team for a Digital Officer for Grassroots Archery.

Salary Range:   £24-26k depending on experience
Location: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Home based, preferably centrally for national travel

At Archery GB we are passionate about encouraging current and future members to engage positively with our sport. We do this through creating communities of archers and providing engaging stories, online training content and sharing successes across our clubs and regions.
As Digital Officer - Grassroots Archery you will work to support the rebuilding and revitalising of our club network, ensuring that members can access the information and support they need and be inspired by each other's stories.
Developing strong relationships with our Regional Development team and the national network of archery clubs, you will understand the needs of beginners and established club members and tailor content and channels to stimulate their interest and connection with archery.
Successful candidates will be capable of working with a range of media and storytelling techniques including writing, editing, filming and video production, in order to develop compelling content to reach a range of audiences.
With a passion for social media, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in developing content for a range of social media channels and your enthusiasm for getting the right message to the right audience.
Based from home you will need to be a self-starter who has the confidence and skills to initiate and build strong relationships within and outside Archery GB. Working collaboratively with internal colleagues, club officials and members you will demonstrate the curiosity to uncover new stories and angles to maintain interest. The role will involve national travel to local clubs and attendance at events.
