Club Matters, the Sport England Lottery-funded programme that provides free resources, support, guidance and workshops, has launched their brand-new Health Check Tool. This self-assessment tool is designed to help anyone that runs community sport clubs, groups or organisations.
The tool will get you to think about how your organisation performs and checks that you're providing a safe environment for all. In addition, it will indicate if the club operates in a way that meets your legal requirements.
Using interactive and diagnostic questions, the tool takes you through the essential organisational elements of governance, workforce, finance, facilities and safeguarding. It creates a report that shows areas of strength and development, with direct links to help you consider the steps to take in improving.
The tool takes around 15 minutes to complete and produces an online report, plus a downloadable PDF report. It can be undertaken as many times as you like to track your developments and your results are always saved on your account.
