Both archers were consistent throughout the match, but each end Dror just pipped Patrick on score, earning him 6-0 set points to take the win.
Patrick said: “I’m chuffed with taking silver from the European Grand Prix in Croatia. It’s great to see that all the work I’ve put in coming back from injury is paying off like this at a high level. I’d also like to thank my team for all the support going through the matches! During the match I was pretty singularly focused upon my shooting and the technical work I did post qualifying, along with the form elements I know I need to maintain to shoot my best groups.”
The GB recurve women, comprising of Bryony Pitman, Penny Healey, and Megan Havers, also came home with a silver medal in the team division. They ranked in sixth place after qualification and following two consecutive 6-2 victories in the head-to heads, they earned their place in the live final. GB came up against the top ranked team from Korea, who took a 6-0 win over the Brits for the top spot on the podium.
