The youngest member of the GB Olympic squad, Megan is just sixteen-years-old. She is from Leicester where she is in high school studying for her GCSE exams in May. She first got into archery when she tried it on a Haven holiday with her family, and shortly afterwards signed up for a beginners course.
Her most proud archery achievement was winning a bronze medal in the mixed team category at the 2023 European Youth Cup in Switzerland. Last year she also came 4th at her debut appearance at the National Tour Finals, she reached a competition PB of 669, and earned a place in the Olympic Selection Shoot for Paris 2024.
This season, Megan and her teammates, Bryony Pitman and Penny Healey, won a silver team medal at the European Grand Prix. Then in Antalya for the Final Olympic Quota Tournament, the three women shot and won the bronze match, securing their team spot for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Megan was the youngest archery competing at the Olympics this year, and she finished in 9th position for her debut Games. She also became the National Tour: The Final champion for the recurve women.
