Job Vacancy - Membership Services Officer

Archery GB has an exciting opportunity for a Membership Services Officer to join our successful National Governing Body based at the National Sports & Conferencing Centre at Lilleshall.

Job Title:           Membership Services Officer - 35 hours/week

Salary Range:   £17,500 to £18,000

Location:           Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Newport, Shropshire

Archery GB has an exciting opportunity for a Membership Services Officer to join our successful National Governing Body based at the National Sports & Conferencing Centre at Lilleshall.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated communicator to develop our membership services and ultimately, our membership satisfaction. We want to hear from people who will bring new ideas and insight to the development of membership services within our organisation. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for Archery GB, delivering services to our members, potential members and stakeholders plus an essential support member of the Membership Services Team.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Redesigning and proactively developing membership services standards and processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Providing a superior quality of service to members
  • Supporting the administration function of the Membership Services Team
  • Ensuring the accuracy of Archery GB's CRM information
  • Delivering Archery GB's membership services standards service level agreement and reporting on exceptions

We are looking for applicants with:

  • Experience of working in a customer call centre or member/customer support environment and dealing with a high level of activity
  • Customer Service qualification (NVQ/Diploma), or equivalent and/or knowledge of a membership organisation is desired
  • Proven experience of delivering excellent member/customer service
  • The ability to question and challenge existing processes to drive improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong numerical and data skills
  • Good level of IT skills, experience of using CRM systems and effective use of MS Office applications
  • The ability to travel to our rural offices
