Lonsdale Archers welcomes archers to take part in their Big Reopening events

Lonsdale Archers in Lancashire extends invitation to archery community to take part in their Big Reopening weekend activities on 7-9 May.

Lonsdale Archers are actively reaching out to their contacts, seeking to assure those who may still be worried about returning to archery, and inviting them to join in their Big Reopening weekend plans:

1. Friday 7 May (evening event): A fun interactive online Big Quiz.
2. Sunday 9 May: Work party and shooting session. Doing a club inventory, help tidying, repairing items or identifying items to replace, and repainting marker posts. Club shooting will follow afterwards.
3. Sunday 9 May: Photo competition: opportunity to enter a fun photo into the photo competition to win one of the three prizes on offer from Archery GB - please refer to the Big Reopening Guide for more details.

Lonsdale Archers hopes that members (especially those who have so far been unable to return to the range) will find the online Big Quiz on Friday evening a great opportunity to reconnect with their club and fellow archers. Club Secretary, Mark Christie said: Â"It'll be great to get people involved in these three fun activities. The club is already off to a positive start, with three new juniors (pictured above) already taking their beginners' course, and more people on the books ready to start soon."
