The Archery GB ambassadors and mentors have been in post for six months, let's see what they've achieved so far!
Over the past six months, 26 ambassadors and eight mentors have been working hard to help grow our sport and increase participation.
This weekend saw the second Mentor and Ambassador Weekend at Lilleshall. During the day, we learnt how the mentors and ambassadors have got on over the past six months, shared their stories, successes and how they have learnt to do things differently for the future. A safeguarding course took place for all, including parents who attended along with team-building with Youth Sport Trust Athlete Mentor Neil Danns.
Throughout the past six months, the mentors and ambassadors have managed to achieve some great milestones. They delivered 424 activities, that included;
Just to name a few! They also brought in 78 new members, which is an average of four people per ambassador. On top of this, 16 of the 26 ambassadors have signed up to the Youth Sport Award.
