Ahead of the prestigious National Tour Final, we have compiled a compound preview. The top eight archers from the season will shoot elimination matches to crown the 2021 National Tour winner.
Saturday is the compound day, with recurve archers shooting on Sunday and live streamed through Archery GB's social media platforms.
Here is a compound preview of the archers that will be competing on Saturday.
How did you start archery?
I started archery in 2015, originally as shooting barebow, changing to compound in 2017. Coaches from Deer Park Archers came to my secondary school to give a six-week have-a-go course after school which I tried and loved! I think joined their club, Â Deer Park Archers, and went from there.
What is your biggest achievement?
My biggest achievement so far is winning the Longines Prize for Precision at the Paris World Cup earlier this year.
How are you feeling ahead of the Finals?
I am feeling nervous of course, but really looking forward to it, I can't wait to see what I can do at this brilliant event!

How did you start archery?Â
I started Archery at an after school club at my junior school when IÂ was very young and fell in love with the sport immediately. I discovered there was more to archery than just one bow-style, and I took up compound as soon as I finished my beginners course and have never looked back or wanted to shoot anything else.
What is your biggest achievement?
Winning the European Youth Championships & Winning the Youth World indoor series at Nimes after getting silver the previous year.
How do you feel ahead of the Finals?Â
I feel a bit more settled now as I have had a really tough year struggling with my anxiety levels on and off the field, but my family have been great supporting me and so I'm feeling good going into the finals.

How did you start archery?
I started shooting in 2009 when my family tried it whilst on holiday at Center Parcs. My dad was the first one to take up the sport. My brother and I went along to watch him at the club and wanted to sign up then and there.
Where is your favourite place to shoot?
My favourite place to shoot is Barnsley Archery Club, my home ground and host of the National Tour Stage 5. I also shot 701 in qualification recently, which is my best achievement so far.
How are you feeling ahead of the Finals?
My shots are feeling the best they've felt in a long time. I've been putting the work in and I can't wait to be able to get back on the finals field.

How and when did you start archery?
I started shooting in 1998 because of my family, I am the fifth generation.
What is your best achievement?Â
Winning Vegas in 2015 and back to back European titles in 2015 and 2016.
How do you feel ahead of the Finals?
I feel great, I am happy to be back after I had to pull out of last year's final because of the pandemic. Ready for my fifth participation and podium ??

How and when did you start archery?
After watching the Lord of the Rings and pestering my dad to take me to beginners lessons at a local club in 2005/2006 for six months, but didn't come back to it until 2010.
What is your best achievement?
Representing Great Britain for the first time in 2016 in Mongolia.
How do you feel ahead of the Finals?
I am feeling relaxed about shooting at Lilleshall. I've done a few events on the Orangery and I love the finals field setup on it. I'm thrilled to be back for another year.

A friend went to a country fair and did a have ago, then was going to do a taster session the following week, I didn't have anything to do so went along with him in 2011.

Veronica's Cup in Slovenia, because of the stunning views.

How and when did you start archery?
In 2016, my school put on a beginners course, after that I joined a club as a bare bow then swapped to compound soon after.
What is your biggest achievement?Â
Three medals, two silver and mixed team gold at the World Youth Championships in Argentina 2017 and silver World Cup team medal Berlin 2019.
How do you feel ahead of the Finals?
Excited and nervous, it's been a turbulent season but making the National Tour Final is a huge achievement for me.
How did you start archery?
I did rifle shooting for Disability Shooting Great Britain for a year, however, due to classification, I decided to do a beginners course in archery.
Where is your favourite place to shoot?
I love to shoot at my club Deer Park Archers, it's such a great setting and always so friendly.
How do you feel ahead of the Finals?
I'm so excited to be part of the top eight in the country. All I can ask for it to shoot my best on the day and I'm looking forward to competing on the Orangery finals range again.

How did you start archery?Â
I started with my dad making me a wooden bow 21 years ago.
What is your biggest achievement?
Multiple time European field champion and Redding champion.
How do you feel ahead of the Finals?Â
I feel pretty good. Put in a lot of work to be ready for this and the European field champs coming up so I feel like I'm as ready as I can be.

How did you start archery?Â
Through a colleague of my dads 26 years ago. My dad and I took a liking to it. While I focused more and more on competing my dad started working in an archery shop and took up judging.
What is your biggest achievement?Â
World 3rd individual 2015 I think. I feel I have made a lot of great achievements. Winning the first back to back was my big breakthrough.
How do you feel ahead of the Finals?Â
Confident. I have had some amazing competition practice recently and National Tour Finals is a practice for the Worlds trip to Yankton later this month.

How did you start archery?Â
My Dad, Gareth, did archery when he was younger but as he got older he stopped doing it. Then around 12 years ago he saw that a local club, Bayeux Bowmen, was running a taster session. My Dad, my sister and I all went to have a go and all loved it so much we signed up for the beginner's course. My sister stopped shooting but my dad and I's love for the sport is still growing to this day.
Where is your favourite place to shoot?Â
I have finished there now, but it was my club at the University of Warwick! Going to a session and shooting with 20+ people of similar ages who all share the same passion was amazing! I also enjoy shooting at my current club The High Weald Archery Club as it has 24/7 outdoor, indoor and field course ranges to shoot at, which is great for practice.
How do you feel ahead of the Finals?
I'm feeling good! This is my first tour finals as a competitor but I have been to a few to spectate. The finals field is on the orangery at Lilleshall where the Youth Festival finals and where I have won a few medals so I am familiar with it all. I am looking forward to it! Bring it on!

Had a go at a fete, missed with all 6 joined a club and went from there in 1980.
What is your biggest achievement?Â
This space isn't big enough, although probably the fact that I'm still going, still competitive and still loving it after 41 years.
