This evening (28 April) Archery GB's 2020 ontarget Club and Volunteer Awards online presentation will celebrate the brilliant clubs that work tirelessly to promote archery and increase participation. It will also honour the dedicated volunteers who give up their spare time to contribute to our beloved sport, along with those who work behind the scenes to help clubs run smoothly.
Nominations from ontarget clubs and members were gathered and reviewed earlier this year by Archery GB. We are seeking to recognise and reward the clubs and individuals that have gone beyond the acknowledged responsibilities of a community sports club to promote archery in their communities over the last 12 months.
Here's a look at the award categories:
Young Volunteer of the Year
This award is for an individual, aged under 25 on 31 August 2020, who has demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to a club and made a strong impact through volunteering.
Volunteer of the Year

ontarget Performance Club of the Year
This award is for ontarget clubs that have achieved the Performance specialism, that have embraced a performance culture across the club to support archers, coaches and judges and helped them reach their potential.
ontarget Club of the Year
The overall award for the club that has shown the most contribution to the development of archery, and which supports the ethos of the ontarget programme, demonstrating good club organisation and management.
