Archery GB Rules of Shooting Update April 2018
Archery GB have made changes to the following Rules of Shooting effective from 9th April 2018:
Rule 201 (a) (ii) - Covering of the "non-sighting" eye.
The revision removes the need to fully cover the non-sighting eye / glasses lens, and allows the use of film or tape.
Rule 306 (a) to (g) - Scoring. These have been amended following the proposals put forward in the Winter edition of Archery UK, and feedback received. There has been a slight alteration to the numbering advised in the proposal.
Parts 11/12 - Disabled and Visually Impaired Archers. Part 12 has been deleted, and Part 11 re-written to encompass both part 11 and 12, with some revisions as advised in the Winter edition of AUK.
A revised Rule Book can be downloaded below, together with a document detailing the changed rules only.
Some small additional wording changes have been made where necessary within the rule book, but which do not affect the purpose of the rules.
