We want to support archery beginners through their first 12 months while giving you the chance to share your knowledge and experience with your fellow archers. We're looking for people like you to write articles, film short videos or lead webinars.
You could be a coach, recent beginner or volunteer with experience and passion that you want to use to help others. Your role will be to provide guidance on an aspect you feel passionate about, for example coaching, competition, clothing, equipment, different types of archery, parenting a new archer, club life, or other scenarios that new archers face.
We'd like the support to include answers to all the ‘silly' questions and observations that beginners are often too afraid to talk about! When it comes to archery there are no stupid questions so we'll be giving beginners the chance to send their questions in for our panel of contributors to answer.
This is a flexible role that could simply entail creating some written content for our new Start Archery website or beginners' ezine, short videos, or delivering online webinars for beginners. We're looking for a range of people to help, and are particularly seeking people of all ages, abilities, and experience to become contributors and help new archers.
Contributors will be paid £30 per hour for their time for leading webinars, and a set fee for other content creation.
If you are interested, please email Emma Kasprzak. Please include a 100 word summary of your experience or area of interest plus 2-3 ideas for topics you would be interested in talking or writing about. Emails should be received by Monday 6 December.
