Start Archery Week is back, and registration is now open. Giving the archery community the annual opportunity to come together and celebrate our great sport, this event is your opportunity to showcase your club, attract new members, and help us create a buzz around archery.
Start Archery Week is gearing up for 2024, and we're calling on clubs and volunteers to join the movement and host your own archery event.
This year Start Archery Week will take place from Saturday 4 May to Sunday 12 May and has two themes: mental health and the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. This year we'd like our clubs and organisations to shout about just how good our sport is for mental health and wellbeing. As part of the SAW Toolkit, we’re supplying a list of ways your club could incorporate good mental wellbeing into your event. Start Archery Week will also officially kick-off Aim for Paris, our summer of celebratory events leading up to the Games. There'll be more information on this coming in the next few months, including how your club can get involved.
Here's why your club should be a part of this national archery event:
Trent Valley Archers set the bar high last year with an impressive 238 attendees - can your club top this? Now is the time to rally your club members and volunteers. Let's make Start Archery Week 2024 bigger and better than ever before! Be a part of the archery magic, share the thrill, and watch your club's community grow.
