The new champions of British Target archery have been named, as well as the winners of the sixth stage of the National Tour.
Archers had a weekend of sunshine at Lilleshall for the biggest ever UK outdoor competition, comprising of 363 participants shooting across 102 bosses on two full fields. Archery GB would like to express our immense gratitude to all of the volunteers and judges who helped us make this event happen.
One of the stand-out performances was from barebow woman, Sarah Hubbard. She earned herself a gold medal haul, winning four out of a possible four stages of this year’s National Tour.
Sarah said: "Winning all of the Tour stages has provided me with confidence heading into the Finals. The rising standard of archery especially in matches within the stages has been amazing to see and be a part of. There have been some very tough and close matches and I expect that the Finals will see some tough close matches, with some incredible archery by a very talented field."
2024 Olympians, Bryony Pitman and Tom Hall, topped the recurve men’s and women’s podiums this weekend. Fresh off the back of Tom's 9th place and Bryony's 17th place finishes in Paris, Bryony and Tom have also therefore secured their spots in National Tour: The Final.

Winner of the compound men’s category, Ajay Scott, said: “Overall, the weekend went really well! It was interesting with the weather, but I managed to shoot well on both days to secure the win. It felt really great to end the stages this year and it’s always a great feeling to share the podium with good friends. Going into the National Tour Finals I feel really good, my equipment is performing well, and I look forward to shooting against the best in the country.”
