This week (18-24 May) marks an important time in sport owing to UK Anti-Doping's (UKAD) Clean Sport Week.
Despite the global Covid-19 pandemic putting the brakes on most sporting activity, those involved in the sector remain committed to ‘clean' sport. UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) say now is a great time for coaches and athletes to refresh their knowledge on the subject.
As part of UKAD's Clean Sport Week campaign, UKAD is hosting a free-to-attend webinar to discuss the role of coaches in clean sport on Wednesday 20 May at 1-2pm BST -Â register at UKAD to secure a place on the webinar.
The webinar will cover topics including: Do coaches discuss anti-doping enough with their athletes? Do they have the knowledge they need, and do they feel comfortable speaking to athletes? What more could be done to support coaches? Join elite athletes and coaches as they discuss their roles in clean sport and how they are adapting to lockdown. Keep an eye out for panel announcements this week and book your place now!
Use the hashtags #CleanSportWeek and #CleanInQuarantine throughout the week for the latest updates - and don't miss the Coach Clean Quiz on the UKAD website on Friday 22 May.
