Thanks to all those who took part in our virtual archery competitions, both of which we sadly had to cancel owing to the lockdowns across the U.K.Â
This 'indoor season' just passed saw the first edition of The 300, the continuation of the January Challenge and a new club postal league. Unfortunately, due to restrictions across the U.K. the virtual/postal competitions had to be closed.
We do, however, intend to hold these events again next winter. Please look out for more details later in the year.
We want to thank you to those that took part. We apologise to those that couldn't due to the time constraints and restrictions.
Scores and results of the Summer Metrics can be found in the documents section below. The scores from The 300 can be found here.
Those who entered are eligible to receive a participation certificate, also available in the documents section.
The reason we are doing participation certifcates rather than place certificates was because the number of entries was not sufficient this year. We are, however, hoping to do place certificates for the next virtual/postal competitions.
This summer will see the return of Summer Metrics and the 360 Challenge, so make sure to look out for those.
The Summer Metrics are a postal competititon shot between June, July and August. All ctegories are split by age, gender and bow type.
During the competition, you'll be able to enter more than once with the archers highest score used for the final results.
More details will become available closer to the time.
The 360 Challenge is the perfect opportunity to mix social media and virtual competition for all levels of archers around the UK. A simple 36 arrow round shot. All bow types are welcome to join in the virtual competition.
Last year was a great success and videos can be found on our YouTube channel.
The virtual competition will take place later in the summer.
