Adam is originally from Birmingham but currently shoots at Foxes Archery Club in Leicestershire. He has previously shot at Bowflights, Redhill, Meriden and Birstall. He started shooting at the age of 12 when he and his dad were invited to a have a go session by one of his dad’s work colleagues. After six months he switched to compound.

In archery, his biggest achievements are winning a national tournament in 2010, winning a bronze World Championships medal from Copenhagen in 2015, a silver mixed team World Cup medal from Antalya in 2016 and a gold men’s team medal from the European Championships in Poland 2018. In 2020 he smashed the UK WA50m record from 710 to 716/720. This was a record that had stood for 10 years. 2023 is his 10th year on the squad (excluding the year his daughter was born).

Outside of archery, Adam says his biggest achievements are getting married and having two children. When not spending time with family or shooting, Adam works as a team lead for a web build and release team.
