When Alex was about four years old, he made a bow out of a piece of plastic and string, spending hours to find things to shoot through it. Eventually, he found a have-a-go session locally and was hooked from the start. Due to the pandemic, he had to wait two years to come back to try it again. Alex is homeschooled where he lives in a little village in Mid Wales.
He's most proud of coming second to Alex Wise at the Truball Axcel Back2Back in 2024. Last year he also won U18 gold at Youth Festival, and ranked third for the GB junior recurve men.
This season he hopes to get to the National Tour Final and come out with a medal at the stages. He is also aiming for an individual medal at Veronica's Cup, a gold medal at the European Youth Cup in Slovenia, and to top the podium at the Youth World Championships in Canada.
