Sarah first tried archery when she was in the Sea Scouts and on school trips and really enjoyed it and decided she wanted to join a club and do more of it. She has a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from Cardiff University and has worked as an engineer before putting her career on hold to become a full-time athlete. She is originally from Essex but now lives in Telford, Shropshire. Sarah is a keen horserider in her spare time and also competed in trampolining before taking up archery.

Sarah made her Olympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games, finishing 17th individually, ninth in the team and eighth in the mixed team. She's most proud of winning the women's team bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships, and one week later followed it up with the team gold at the European Games in Minsk.

In 2023 she came 2nd at the National Tour Finals, 2nd at the British Target Championships, and 1st at the UK Masters. This year she aims to make the Paris Olympic team and win an Olympic medal.
