The 2022 Field 3D and World Games selection policies have now been released.
The 2020/21 Field and 3D archery season has highlighted to us all how important it is to be flexible and adaptable rather than sticking rigidly to the competition format we have been used to for many years.
Field and 3D clubs have appreciated being able to put on one-day or two-day competitions that have suited their calendar and their available workforce. Archers have appreciated being able to just attend one day of competition rather than two when family and work commitments have had to take priority.
The selection criteria for the 2022 World Games, World Field Championship and World 3D Championship GB & NI Teams reflect the continued need for flexibility, with the possibility to attain qualification scores at one-day or two-day championships using mixed, combined or marked rounds.
The full criteria outline the qualification process and aim to ensure that clubs have the opportunity to put on events that suit them and that archers can more easily combine their quest to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland with all of their other commitments.
