A host of sporting legends, including Paralympic champion Jodie Grinham, will be at Festival of Sport, the UK’s largest sports-focused family weekend, this summer.
Archery GB staff and volunteers will also be at the event at Packington Estate, near Birmingham from 1-4 August, supporting an archery have-a-go.
The event starts on Friday afternoon when families can set up camp before signing up to an A-Z of sports from archery to Zumba via rugby, hockey, rowing, skateboarding, and more, all included in the price.
Sessions will be led by grassroots coaches and instructors supported by sports pros.
Soft archery will be on offer for younger children with family sessions meaning parents and carers can have a go too.
Jodie Grinham, who won mixed team gold at Paris 2024 and individual bronze, will be joined by other sporting legends including rugby players Ben Youngs and Austin Healey, footballers Alexa Hunn-Phillips and Mark O'Brien, cricketers Graeme Swann and Ryan Sidebottom, and stars from the world of hockey, netball, golf, athletics, trampolining, boxing, judo, rowing, lacrosse, skateboarding and skating, and fitness.
