2025 World Youth Championships selection policies published

Archery GB has published the youth selection policies for recurve and compound athletes hoping to compete at the 2025 World Youth Championships.

Teams will travel to Canada for the 2025 World Youth Championships which will take place in the city of Winnipeg. The policy also sets out the selection process for the earlier European Youth Cup 2nd Leg in Slovenia.

Minimum qualifying scores have been set for entry to the selection process for both events. There will be a selection shoot to decide the team for both events which will take place at Lilleshall National Sports Centre on 31 May and 1 June.

Performance Pathway Manager, Cait Leach, said “The 2025 World Youth Championships will showcase the very best young archery talent from across the globe, including competitors who may already be seasoned senior athletes. In anticipation of this, we have set highly competitive minimum qualifying standards for entry to the selection process, and we are committed to sending a team with excellent performance potential. We also look forward to the opportunity for athletes who are newer to international competition to potentially make their debut at the European Youth Cup.”
