Salary Range:               £45 - 55k (dependent on experience)
Location:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lilleshall and home based
We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and focused individual who will lead, shape and deliver initiatives that will develop and grow the sport of archery by attracting and retaining participants within the sport.
Archery GB is looking for a Director of Participation to lead the team that will empower and inspire current and future generations to develop the grass roots of our sport, through club development, workforce (coaches, judges, volunteers) and participation programmes.
The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism and drive, building strong relationships and influencing across the organisation in pathways and competitions and with external stakeholders such as Sport England.
As a senior member of the Archery GB strategic leadership team, they will contribute to the development and delivery of our strategic ambitions, driving our mission of rebuilding, reimagining and re-presenting archery over the next 5 years.
Our strategy ‘Enriching lives through archery' needs the whole sport to pull together in the same direction, recognising the importance of all parts and individuals, to ensure that everyone who experiences archery is better off, physically, mentally, socially and economically.
With several exciting opportunities ahead, including the task of rebuilding the sport out of the Covid-19 pandemic, candidates should have a strong track record in sport development, leading teams to embed positive cultural change and have outstanding communication and relationship-building skills that will help build strong, collaborative teams throughout the sport.
