Arran Coggan confirmed as Archery GB Director of Participation

Archery GB is happy to announce the appointment of Arran Coggan as our new Director of Participation.

Arran had been the Acting Director of Participation for a number of months but after a comprehensive selection process his confirmation in the role can now be announced. 

Club representatives will be familiar with Arran as he has worked in various roles at AGB since joining 11 years ago. 

The Director of Participation leads a dedicated team to empower and inspire current and future generations to develop the grassroots of our sport, through club development, workforce (coaches, judges, volunteers) and participation programmes. 

As a senior member of the Archery GB strategic leadership team, Arran will also contribute to the development and delivery of our strategic ambitions, driving our mission of rebuilding, reimagining and re-presenting archery over the next 5 years. 

Before joining Archery GB, Arran worked in sports development in local government. Outside of work Arran is involved in hockey as chairman of his local club. He is also a director for a volunteering charity which supports community projects across the Newark and Sherwood area.
