The team who will compete in Limerick, Ireland at the 2023 World Youth Championships has been announced
This year’s World Youth Championships will be held in the scenic Irish city Limerick from 3-9 July. A full team of 24 athletes have been selected to compete for Great Britain.
Compound Programme Manager, Jon Nott, said: “The World Youth Championships is the pinnacle event for all young aspiring athletes in archery. It's where many future stars of the sport have had their breakthrough performances, and they have become Olympic and world champions. Great Britain have an incredibly talented team who will be on the hunt for medals at this event.”
The team comprises of many talented young archers, including two European Youth Champions from 2022, Monty Orton and Hallie Boulton, and the current world number one, Penny Healey.
