The pinnacle of the Junior Archery Series, the Final, wrapped up JAS for another year.
Youth archers from across the country have competed in the Junior Archery Series stages from April to August, spanning from Ashington to Wallingford. Those who have competed in at least three of the five stages were invited to compete in the Final to see who will take the overall 2025 titles.
On 6 September, Meriden Archery Club played host on a very windy but warm day. Nearing the end of a long season, archers were tired, but nothing that some good cake sold by the club couldn’t fix! Emotions were high as matches were won and lost, though the comradery between peers and competitors alike was definite.
Holly Linfield and Alex Sillitoe-Price were asked to be Lady and Lord Paramount to presents the awards, which they found funny, especially when Holly had to present Alex with an award.

Andy Stamford, Judge, said: “I love junior events like this. It’s how I got into the sport myself 40+ years ago, so it’s important we continue to support them. Everyone looks happy to be here and having fun.”
Alex Sillitoe-Price on what it’s like to be both World Champion and JAS Champion in one year: “Amazing. It’s been a good day and a great year.”
