Junior Archery Series: Wallingford Castle

Wallingford Castle Archers played host to the fifth stage of the 2024 Junior Archery Series.

The fifth and last stage of the 2024 Junior Archery Series took place this weekend at Wallingford Castle Archers in Oxfordshire, ahead of the Final at the end of August. 

A day of sunny speels and ideal low winds saw Archie Bromley shoot a new unofficial national record for the U18 recurve men’s WA 60m qualification round, scoring 679 points to rank him in first place.

During the head-to-heads, the compound youth men’s gold final between Thomas Lane and Max Pelling, Thomas shot 149 out of a possible 150 points, equalling the current national record.
