Today (4 February) is 'Time to Talk Day', a mental health awareness campaign. To mark the day, UK Coaching with partners Mind, 1st4sport and Sport England, have updated their popular mental health awareness online course.
Even a small conversation about mental health can make a big difference to a person's life.
UK Coaching - in collaboration with its awarding organisation 1st4sport, and partners Mind, the mental health charity, and Sport England - announce their updated version of the popular eLearning course Mental Health Awareness in Sport and Physical Activity.
Awareness of mental health problems is vital now more than ever. Along with their partners, UK Coaching decided to continue to reduce the cost of this course by more than 30%. It is available at £12 (instead of the initial RRP of £18). UK Coaching subscribers continue to enjoy a 33% discount on the course.
More than 35,000 coaches enrolled on the first release of the course, and whilst the learning outcomes haven't altered in this updated version, there's a fresh new look and some additions to enhance the eLearning experience of the course and make it more inclusive. New information has also been added on borderline personality disorder (within Module 1).
