National Indoor Weekend FAQs - updated

Here are some quick FAQs for the 2021 National Indoor Weekend.

With some government guideline changes, we have updated our FAQs for the National Indoor Weekend.

Do I need to do a lateral flow test?

Yes, everyone is required to do a lateral flow test within 24 hours prior to arrival for the event. This is for the safety of our volunteers, workers, the archers around and yourselves.

Anyone who is attending but not competing will have to register they are coming. If you're a visitor not shooting, you will be required to do a lateral flow test within 24 hours of coming as well. This is regardless of your vaccination status.

Please refer to Government guidelines in regards to testing positive and let the TO know immediately that you will not be able to attend the event.

You could be asked to provide evidence of the negative result at registration. This will be on a random spot check basis. To provide this we will ask for either:

  • Confirmation of the test through NHS
  • Picture of your lateral flow test with your name and date written next to it.

Do I need to wear a face covering?

Yes. Everyone on site will be expected to wear a mask apart from when they are shooting their bow. This is for the safety of our volunteers, staff and the athletes competing. If you are a spectator/coach/parent/guardian, you will be expected to always have your face mask on.

Masks are required for all ages except for those with a medical exemption. This is due to the updated government guidance about mask wearing in crowded or enclosed places.

I can't make the event anymore, what do I do?

If you can no longer make any of the events that you have entered, please contact us immediately as there are long waiting lists. For the Junior National Indoor Championships - please email and for the Indoor National Championships - please email

For those on the waiting lists, please keep an eye on your emails and Sport80 as we are going through the lists currently with dropouts happening. If we have spaces, we will allow you to enter on the day, please still do a Lateral Flow test before coming.

How many people can I bring with me?

We are allowing 1 coach/parent/guardian/spectator per athlete in the shooting area. If more people show up with you, they will not be allowed in the shooting area. They can however, go to the tradeshow. We do encourage people to mindful of the amount of people coming with you to the event hall.

Anyone who is not competing will need register here.

Who can come to the tradeshow?

Anyone is allowed to come to the tradeshow, it will be cordoned off from the shooting area. The tradeshow will be open for both days of the event. Please check signage for entry points into each event (there are different entrances for each event).

Where can I follow results?

Results for Junior National Indoors and National Indoors will be available on Ianseo. They will be updated throughout both days to follow along. The entry list and target lists will be available shortly. Follow the back to back on Facebook with the Shoot Down Eliminator being livestreamed from 3pm.

How do I participate in the Online Indoor World Series?

On Sunday, we will be asking if you would like to participate in the Indoor World Series at registration. If you do not want to participate, we will remove your results from the results that will be submitted on your behalf to World Archery. It will not cost you anything to participate.

Date of births have to be sent to the WA if they want to send their scores.
