The first National Talent Development Programme (NTDP) day of 2019, will be held on Sunday 24 February 2019 and it's now open for bookings on the Online Members' Portal.
The NTDP will run at both Lilleshall National Sports Centre and at Aim4Sport simultaneously, giving members the option of two different locations.
The first NTDP day in November was a huge success with over 70 athletes taking part. The NTDP is an important connection between grassroots archery and the Archery GB Talent Pathway. Archers will receive three hours of coaching by our experienced Pathway Coaches, along with Strength and Conditioning advice and benchmarking. The cost of the day is only £20 per person.
Archers can attend quarterly coaching and benchmarking days throughout the year and are profiled in August at the end of the cycle. Those demonstrating talent against the Â"what it takes to win” criteria may be selected to the National Age Group Academy, the induction for which takes place each September.
All recurve and compound athletes under the age of 20, including those in situations of disability, who are keen to improve, are actively encouraged to attend.
