Archery GB have introduced a new 50+ Rose award to bring us in line with target competition age categories and following feedback from archers.
The rose award was previously open to seniors and juniors when shooting at a UK Record Status York, Hereford, or Bristols I-V tournament that also has Rose Award status. Claims are made at the record status tournament and the round shot must be relevant to the age group.
From 1 April 2025, Rose awards will be available for 50+ archers shooting the Bristol II (Ladies) or Hereford/Bristol 1 (Gentleman) at tournaments that have been accorded Rose Award Status. Claims must be made via the tournament organiser on the day of the competition. The claim form can be downloaded here.
Additionally, we will be accepting backdated claims for 50+ Rose awards from competitions that took place between 1 April 2024 - 31 March 2025. These claims may be submitted by archers (they do not have to be made via the tournament organiser) and the deadline for doing this is 1 June 2025).
Backdated claims should be submitted by completing a Backdated 50+ Rose Award online claim form.
Please also be aware of the following:
1. Only one Rose Award in each colour may be claimed
2. If you achieve a score for a particular colour and you have already claimed that colour Rose, you may instead use the score for one of the lower Roses that you have not yet claimed
