New interim CEO announced for Archery GB

Archery GB has announced that Alastair Marks will be taking up the position of interim CEO.

Alastair comes from a sporting background having been interim CEO at both British Gymnastics and British Rowing and also permanent CEO at British Rowing. Prior to his NGB roles, Alistair worked in sports marketing, including with Aviva, McDonalds and Sainsburys. He also led on increasing participation for both the Rugby Football Union and the Lawn Tennis Association.

Archery GB’s previous CEO, Ruth Hall, left the organisation in July. Alastair will take up the role from 22 September while the Board begins the process of recruiting a permanent CEO.

During this period, we will aim to build on the great platform that is in place to grow the sport alongside our dedicated clubs and volunteers, whilst at the same time ensuring that the best possible pathways are in place to nurture and develop talent across the sport who can go on to compete at the highest levels."
