2022 is here, and that means Para Archery Open Selection Opportunities are too. Along with the 2022 selection policy.
Archery GB is proud to offer the WA 70m and 50m rounds with 3 Head to Heads. The event is open to all athletes with a National or International Classification.
The dates of the events are;
The events will run to World Archery rules along with the Archery GB dress code. Shooting will be single detail AB shooting in ends of 6 arrows in 4 minutes for the WA 50m/70m and 3 arrows in 2 minutes for the Head to Heads.
W1 athletes will be shooting at a full 10 zone 80cm face.
The entry fee is £20 per event and all entries will be taken on the https://www.archerygb.org/members-portal/Members' Portal from tonight at 7pm.
Only athletes, one assistant/agent per athlete and officials may enter the field at Lilleshall, all observers and parents are to stay outside of the perimeter fence.
The Para Selection Policy is now available for international events. These events include:
Archers must hold an International Classification with a Confirmed status (C) or with a Fixed Review Status (FRD).
Any athlete without an international classification or, whose classification has a Review Staus (R) or, whose FRD is due to expire before the Para European championship and is intending to submit scores for selection will need to notify Stephanie Kelly (stephanie.kelly@archerygb) no later than 01/05/2022. If successful in being selected these athletes will need to attend international classification at the Para European Cup in Nove Mesto.
