Start Archery is a new website aimed at helping people begin their archery journey.
To help more people discover and try archery for the first time, Archery GB has launched a new website - Start Archery.
Launched ahead of the Big Week and Big Weekend, the website will help people find events near them so they can experience the fun of drawing a bow and releasing their first arrow.
The site also includes an experience finder and club finder so people can find beginners' courses and clubs near them.
Guides on kit and the various types of archery will help people get to grips with what they can expect before they set foot on a range.
We've also included resources for children and teachers so more schools can offer archery and all its benefits to young people.
Keep checking back as we'll be adding more to the site over the coming months.
Start Archery aims to support new members in their first year and help us build back the sport following the impact of 2020.
We know in an Olympic and Paralympic year, interest in taking up archery always increases and with its socially distanced nature and benefits to mental and physical health we're looking forward to seeing even more people start archery.
