Archery GB has appointed Cheltenham-based communications agency Target to raise awareness of our sport and encourage increased participation.
Emma Kasprzak, Archery GB's Head of Communications and Marketing, said: "We're really excited to announce we'll be working with Target PR in an Olympic and Paralympic Games year.
"Awareness and interest in archery increases hugely in a Games year so we want to capitalise on this and use media interest to grow our sport. We'll also be calling on Target's expertise to help clubs to market their events during Start Archery Week and beyond, enabling us to deliver on our vision of 'enriching lives through archery' by introducing even more people to our sport."
Sam Kandiyali, Managing Director at Target, said: "We're thrilled to be working with Archery GB, raising awareness of such an inclusive sport and harnessing the enthusiasm of an Olympic and Paralympic Games year to reach new audiences. We're looking forward to working with the inhouse team and supporting archery clubs across the country to help more people benefit from taking part in the sport."
