Archery GB is delighted to launch the Access Archery Fund, a new initiative in partnership with The Fletchers' Trust. Created to break down barriers, enhance access, and support clubs and Archery Activity Partners (AAPs), the fund will support the delivery of improved inclusive archery experiences across the UK.
This dedicated fund has been established to help more people experience the benefits of archery and deliver on Archery GB’s mission of enriching lives through archery. It is designed to support Archery GB clubs and Archery Activity Partners in creating or expanding their inclusive archery offer.
From purchasing adaptive equipment and funding inclusive coach training, to running community taster sessions and improving facility accessibility, the Access Archery Fund aims to create lasting, meaningful change at grassroots level.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our partnership with The Fletchers' Trust and continue embedding disability awareness and participation within the sport," said Gayle Pink, Head of Participation at Archery GB. "We're incredibly proud to be part of something that makes a real difference. This fund will enable clubs and providers to be more inclusive and offer everyone a route into archery."
Andrew McMillan, Chair of the Trustees at The Fletchers' Trust, said: "Archery is a sport that is open to everyone, regardless of ability or background. We're proud to work with Archery GB to launch this new fund, to help remove barriers and open up new opportunities for people to discover the joy and community that archery offers."
From September 2025 to April 2026, the focus will be on fundraising and collecting donations, with applications expected to open next year. Full guidance will be provided in advance for clubs and AAPs interested in applying to the fund. You will be able to support the fund with an optional donation through the members’ portal when you renew your membership or sign up to a coaching course or competition. A fundraising pack will be created for clubs and AAPs as well as individuals who wish to hold charity events to support the fund.
The Access Archery Fund will be made possible through a combination of Archery GB fundraising, member donations, and charitable contributions. The fund will be held and managed by The Fletchers’ Trust, ensuring it continues to support impactful, inclusive projects for years to come.
