Archery GB Archery Activity Partner. The Archery Activity Partners programme helps you develop and grow your archery activity offering. The AAP programme is open to organisations which aren't currently affiliated to Archery GB as a club, but who want to offer archery activities for the benefit of their customers, members or visitors.

The Archery Activity Partners (AAP) programme is open to organisations which aren’t currently affiliated to Archery GB as a club, but who want to offer archery activities for the benefit of their customers, members or visitors. 

Your organisation could be a sole trader, an activity or holiday company, a Local Authority Education Centre, an outdoor adventure centre, a youth or community organisation, a sports/leisure centre, or a commercial/not-for-profit centre.

What is the criteria for becoming an Archery Activity Partner?

By signing up to the scheme, your organisation is forming a partnership with Archery GB, so will need to agree to the following commitments:

  • All organisation staff have up-to-date Archery GB qualifications (Instructor or Coach)
  • The organisation has the following in place:
    • Adequate Public and Employers Liability insurance
    • Risk assessment, operating and safeguarding procedures for archery
  • Delivery of regular archery sessions
  • A commitment to act as ambassadors for the sport of archery
  • A commitment to actively promote Archery GB campaigns and events, signposting customers and joining the ‘archery family’

What are the benefits of becoming an Archery Activity Partner?

When you become an AAP,  benefits for your organisation include:

  • An association with Archery GB, the national governing body of archery in the UK
  • Regular communications from us, and support and guidance should you need it
  • Access to check staff qualifications and renew qualifications
  • Inclusion and access to an online archery providers directory
  • Access to Archery GB products, programmes and development support
  • Opportunity to organise courses/CPD opportunities on site to raise revenue
  • Access to Archery GB AAP logo/plaque, promotional toolkit and assets for various products and programmes

There will also be future opportunities for a site visit by an archery representative and access to coaching modules/CPD opportunities to increase activity offer. Additional benefits may incur a charge.

What is the cost of becoming an Archery Activity Partner?

If your organisation signs up during 2024, you will receive a discount on your 2023/24 AAP affiliation package. 

There are three levels of affiliation:

  • Standard - £30
  • Activity Partner - £100 – discounted to £60 in 2024
  • Activity PartnerPLUS - £250; discounted to £200 in 2024

How do I sign up to be an Archery Activity Partner?

To sign your organisation up to the AAP scheme, you can go through the Archery GB Membership Portal and follow the instructions.
