Patience is a Sports Coaching and Development student in Wirral, Merseyside, and as well as being a GB archer, she is also and Archery GB Ambassador. She first got into archery around the age of nine when she had a go at the sport at a Scout camp.

In 2024, Patience won compound team gold at the European Indoor Championships with Ella Gibson and Grace Chappell, and she also made her senior outdoor debut at the World Cup in Shanghai. She also won compound women's team bronze at the European Youth Championships, and came third at National Tour: The Final.

Patience is most proud of winning a bronze mixed team medal with Ajay Scott at the World Youth Championships last summer. Moving into the 2025 season, she hopes to gain more experience on the international circuit and drill in her technique.
