GB Bring Home Four World Games Places

At the European Field Championships in Porec, Croatia, Great Britain have earned four places to the 2022 World Games.

Recurve

Recurve man Mark Nesbitt lost to Germany's Jakob Hetz 88-87.
Conor Hall went on to beat Jakob Hetz 87-83, and then Hall beat teammate Patrick Huston 95-86. Hall went on to beat Matthew Requa 94-90. In the semi finals, Hall lost 60-55 to Italian, Mandia Massimiliano, who later went on to win. Going for the bronze, Hall and Unruh tied on 59. In the shoot-off, Hall's 5 wasn't enough to beat his opponent's 6. Conor Hall is placed in 3rd for the unofficial overall quota tournament allocations for the 2022 World Games.

For the recurve women, Bryant Pitman won Denisa Barankova 87-86, then won Debora Pinna 90-83. In the semi finals, Pitman and Ana Umer from Slovenia tied on 57. The shoot off resulted in Pitman winning with a 5 to Umer's 4. In the gold final, Pitman won with 63 to Chiara Rebagliati's 60, putting her at the top of the unofficial overall quota tournament allocations for the 2022 World Games.

Barebow

Barebow woman Carol-Anne Seez won Germany's Martina Boscher 67-60, then lost to Stine Asell from Sweden 76-69. Seez is in 6th place for the unofficial overall quota tournament allocations for the 2022 World Games.
Romaine Mehaffey won Croatian archer Ivana Sebalj Golenko 50-49, then lost to Anne Viljanen from Finland 68-67.

For the barebow men, James Annall won Norwegian archer Lars M Sorlie 80-76, then lost to Eric Espiesito from Italy 77-71. Annall is in 6th place for the unofficial overall quota tournament allocations for the 2022 World Games.
