The Junior Archery Series is a five stage youth competition that runs between 20 May - 10 September.
On 17 June, youth archers came to Woking Archery Club to shoot the second stage of the 2023 Junior Archery Series. Over the initial two stages of the Series there has been a total of 100 archers that have taken part from across 60 clubs, including those in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland!
They completed a qualifying 720 round followed by head-to-head matches to determine the overall category winners for the day's competition.

The next stage of the event will take place from Monday 31 July - Friday 4 August at the Youth Festival held at Lilleshall. Scores will be accumulated by archers at each event, which are based on their placings in the qualifying round and the head-to-heads. The overall JAS category champions will be determined by these points.
Meghan Robertson, winner of the recurve women's under 18 said: "I'm extremely proud of myself for taking gold, and it shows that hard work always pays off. It was lovely to see all my friends that I haven’t seen in such a long time. Onward and upward for the rest of the season."
